PHOTOS: Protesters attack newly elected gov of Bayelsa’s house

Protesters on Friday morning attacked the home of Bayelsa governor-elect, Douye Diri, on Imgbi Road, Amarata, Yenagoa, the state capital.

During the attack, they vandalised some vehicles in his compound and damaged parts of the building.

The attack came a few hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission issued a Certificate of Return to Diri in compliance with the verdict of the Supreme Court.

The protesters also attacked the premises of Radio Bayelsa. See photos:
